Since 2013, the founders of Give Tribe have been collecting Teddy Bears after losing a loved one from heart failure. They have made it their mission to collect hundreds of teddy bears each year to donate to the Children’s Heart Foundation. Starting May 17, the organization collects teddy bears or in-kind donations to purchase teddy bears and invites donors to challenge three of their loved ones, friends, and peers to contribute and give back. Give Tribe will collect teddy bears for a two-week campaign.
In July 2012, The Galloway family lost their father/grandfather due to heart failure. The Galloway’s son Little Nino was affected the most by the loss at the tender age of four years old it was during this time the family decided to create the Casey’s Cause Stuffed Animal Drive, which later was adopted by Give Tribe. Each year Little Nino and the family collect Teddy Bears to donate to children with heart problems. Little Nino is now twelve years old and continues to collect teddy bears in honor of his grandfather. In 2018, they partnered with the local Women’s basketball team, the Aces, and received thousands of teddy bears from each Aces fan.
The Teddy Bear Challenge is a two-week campaign starting May 17 to collect hundreds of teddy bears. Teddy Bears create comfort and safety for the young patients at the Children’s Heart Foundation, who are undergoing heart problems, surgeries, recovery, and care.
